Introductory Class 1 Introductory Class

Schedule: This one day class is available on the first Monday of the month from 6 – 7 p.m.

All sewing enthusiasts that are taking the beginner classes are required to take the refresher sewing classes for basic knowledge of the sewing machine and how to properly use it. In the course you will learn to love your machine and practice some standard stitching techniques.

This 60 minute course is all about the basic tips and tricks and getting to know your machine. You will be learning the basic terminology of the machine and how to prepare and thread your machine for all your projects.

Level: Introductory Course, 18+ years old
Duration: 120 minutes (2 hours) per class
Schedule: This four class, month-long course is available Fridays from 6 - 8 p.m.

This is the perfect introduction course for you to understand the basic tips and tricks to start your sewing journey. You will learn to understand the basics of how to start creating practical and exciting projects for you to use or to share with someone you love. Our classes are offered once a week for 2 hours. You will leave with 1-3 projects made for that month.

Fabric is not included: As sewing enthusiasts, we know that the fabric for each project is unique to every sewer. So as designers you choose the fabric with our direction in the kind of fabric, that you want to use to complete your project and make it fit your individual style. We offer a selection of fabric at our studio that is pre-washed, or you are more than welcome to bring your own!

This starter sewing kit is ideal for participants in our adult sewing classes.

It includes: Tailor's Chalk, Needle, Ruler, Measuring Tape, Seam Ripper, Pair of Sewing Snip Scissors, 50 Pins, and a Carrying Case.
