A Tuscan-Inspired Summer Dream: Trish & Alex’s Elegant Wedding at Hamilton Golf & Country Club
Some weddings feel like magic from the very first detail, and Patricia Taylor & Alexander Clark’s day was exactly that. Held on July 25, 2025, at the historic Hamilton Golf & Country Club in Ancaster, Ontario, their intimate celebration was a breath of fresh Italian summer air with a classic Canadian twist.
Trish and Alex brought their dream to life with 50 of their closest family and friends, creating a day that was meaningful, relaxed, and effortlessly beautiful. Inspired by the warm charm of Tuscany, the entire experience was designed to feel timeless and personal, every touch reflecting their story, their roots, and their love.

A Ceremony Framed in White & Green
The day began with an outdoor ceremony overlooking the lush golf course, the summer breeze gently sweeping through rows of black iron chairs topped with white cushions. Oversized urns overflowing with white hydrangeas framed the aisle, adding a touch of organic grandeur. As Trish and Alex exchanged vows under the open sky, the scene was both refined and deeply personal.
Guests, dressed in shades of white per the couple’s request, added to the visual poetry of the setting, echoing the elegance of Italian summers while complementing the club’s classic architecture.
Toasts, Laughter & That Champagne Tower Moment
Right after the ceremony, the celebration transitioned seamlessly into a champagne tower toast on the terrace, an instant crowd favorite. Glasses clinked, heartfelt words were shared, and a joyful, extended cocktail hour began. Trish and Alex intentionally carved out this time to be present with everyone they love, and it showed. There was no rush, just ease. Just joy.
An Elegant Tuscan Table
Inside the reception space, long tables dressed in crisp white linen created a striking yet simple canvas. Silver candelabras flickered softly as the sun dipped lower in the sky. White hydrangeas, sprigs of greenery, and fresh green grapes ran down the center, nodding to the couple’s Tuscan inspiration with subtle sophistication.
Dinner was served in four thoughtful, delicious courses, a Tuscan-style menu paired with hand-selected Italian wines. The night ended sweetly with vanilla gelato and a lemon olive oil cake lovingly baked by Trish’s cousin, a deliciously sentimental finale.
A Dress That Felt Like Her
Trish’s search for the perfect dress took her from Australia to Canada (and through more than a few trunk shows). But when she discovered Varca, everything changed. The gown she chose was the perfect marriage of structure and softness, a sculpted corset bodice with delicate lace and a flowing pleated silk-chiffon skirt that moved with every step.
“I didn’t want to be the ‘perfect’ bride,” Trish shared. “I just wanted to look and feel like myself.” And she did. Ethereal yet architectural, with an effortless scarf detail that captured the breezy spirit of the day.
Thoughtful Touches & Family Ties
So much of what made this day special were the intimate, intentional details. Menus were printed on old stock paper passed down from Alex’s mother, and hand-calligraphed name cards were created from the paper’s remnants. Trish carried her parents’ wedding ring box, and Alex wore his father’s ring , carrying family legacy in every moment.
Having an Australian photography and video team made the day even more meaningful for Alex and his side of the world. They captured not just the wedding, but the spirit of the entire weekend, from the laughter at the rehearsal dinner to the final, joy-filled dance.
A Few Words from the Bride
“I couldn’t be more grateful for the TEWS team,” said Trish. “Kaesha was my anchor through it all. As an anxious bride, having someone who truly got my vision and helped bring it to life, with so much heart, made all the difference. I drove over three hours each time I visited, and it was 100% worth it.”
Her advice to other brides?
“Take your time. Don’t let social media tell you what your wedding should look like. Trust your instincts, things won’t go perfectly, and that’s okay.”
A Night to Remember
Trish and Alex wrapped up their day with a little dancing under the stars, surrounded by the people who love them most. It was calm. It was romantic. It was a celebration of everything that mattered, and nothing that didn’t.
In every way, it was their own perfect version of paradise.
